… the renovation

… we began with the renovation. Existing structures have changed and evolved and assumed new forms. New elements have been added. In the case of the constructional materials, we were sometimes able to employ resources from the farmstead, itself: The wood for the renovation and interior decorating comes from our forest, cut in accordance with the lunar phases. The weathered wood pieces come from the former façade.

We are completely enthusiastic about the progress, and continue thinking, developing, and planning. We pitch in whenever possible, and are fascinated by the alterations.

The renovation will have been completed by the coming spring, and we are looking forward to opening the new Ahner Berghof for you in Easter of 2017 – your exclusive vacation domicile in South Tyrol.
