When you relax and unwind on our sun terrace, you can also enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the majestic mountains and the vast Eisack Valley.
But inside, too, our cozy parlors furnished with ample wood paneling provide the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy yourself in cheerful company – ideal for family celebrations, too.
Our traditional appetizers are true culinary highlights: Try the bacon dumplings, the beet dumplings, “Schlutzer” (a popular regional specialty), or “Teigtaschen” (a kind of ravioli filled with seasonal goodies like nettles, pumpkin, or cream cheese).
In this family-like atmosphere, we will also serve you our famous Ahner’s “Brettlmarende” – a hearty between-meal snack including freshly-baked bread and homemade curd cheese bread spreads, clear beef broth with crispy sliced pancakes with herbs, and goulash made using young beef we raise ourselves. And this superb culinary experience is accompanied by a variety of tasty, homemade juices (incl. elderberry, peppermint, and lemon balm juices).
Our farm tavern is open the whole year round. We serve hot food from noon till 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. We recommend that you tell us in advance that you’re coming.
Our farm tavern in Rodeneck is the perfect place for your family reunions or company celebrations: Christenings, First Communion, birthdays, Christmas parties, etc. And in the autumn, the Ahner Berghof would be delighted to welcome you to our traditional “Törggelen” (hearty snacks).

With the Almencard, you can use all of South Tyrol’s public transportation systems free of charge. Free travel with the Gitschberg and Joch Valley aerial cableways in specific periods.
